Tuscarora’s superintendent since 1999, Steve Kurta brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work. Steve’s pervious jobs have been at three of the most prestigious clubs in the United States. Steve was the superintendent at the prominent Blackwolf Run Golf Club in Kohler, Wisconsin from 1996-1999. He was the assistant superintendent at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, N.Y. from 1993-1996 and he worked as an intern at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois. Steve has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Crop and Soil Science from Michigan State University. Steve and his wife Janet were married in 1994 and they have one son, Peter.

Steve also maintains a weekly weblog that includes topics such as course conditions, maintenance procedures, turf culture and care, and golf course maintenance announcements and turf pro-tips.  Learn more…..

PGA pro, Scott Webster, has been Tuscarora’s head professional since 2002. Before coming to Tuscarora, Scott served as Beaver Meadows Golf Club’s head professional and as an assistant at Onondaga Country Club.

Advisory Committee

An Advisory Committee was recently formed to assist Steve communicate any improvements/changes made on the course property.  The Committee will also bring any issues or concerns that members have regarding the course to the Superintendent.
